School Licensing FAQ
How does school licensing work?
Terrapin Logo is available to schools in an economical Multiple Computer License which allows the school to tailor its license to its particular situation. There is a base fee plus a per computer charge determined by the total number of computers licensed.
Terrapin's adventure games and curriculum products are available in site licenses. A site license allows the adventure games to be used on all the computers at one site while curriculum products may be copied and distributed to all students at that site.
Can my school add computers to its Terrapin Logo Multiple Computer License in the future?
A school can add to the number of computers covered by its Terrapin Logo license at any time. The per computer fee is based on the total number of computers licensed by the school.
Can my school convert a single-user version of Terrapin Logo into a Multiple Computer License?
A school which purchases a single-user version of Terrapin Logo and decides to obtain a Multiple Computer License will receive credit for the amount paid for the single-user version against the cost of the license.
Can my school convert a single-user adventure game or book into a site license?
A school which purchases a single-user version of Crystal Rain Forest or Mission Control and decides to obtain a site license will receive credit for the amount paid for the single-user version against the cost of the site license. Similarly, a school which purchases a single copy of Logo Works: Lessons in Logo or 101 Ideas for Logo will receive credit for the amount paid for the single book against the cost of a site license.
Can Terrapin Logo be loaded onto the network server?
