How can I get Logo that I or my child is using in school?
Students at schools with a Terrapin Logo Multiple Computer License or a Crystal Rain Forest Site License are eligible to purchase the corresponding program for use at home at a substantial discount. To do so, go to the special Home Discount section of the Terrapin web site. Just put in the name of the school and teacher when requested to qualify for the home discount.
What is the difference between the Home Discount version and the regular version?
The Home Discount version of Terrapin Logo includes the Getting Started Guide and Quick Reference Manual along with the Windows/Mac dual format Terrapin Logo CD. This packaging assumes that Logo instruction is also available at school. The full Terrapin Logo package also includes the Tutorial and Reference Manual. These can also be purchased through the Home Discount program.
Will I get the same version that is being used at school?
Terrapin only ships the latest version of its software products. This will be the same version that is used at school unless the school has not upgraded to the most recent version. Later versions include new features but always include everything available in a previous version so the version you purchase will be compatible with the one at school. If the school has not upgraded to the most recent version, an economical upgrade path for schools is available.
Do I need a Multiple Computer License?
The Terrapin Logo Multiple Computer License is an economical way for a school to use Terrapin Logo on multiple computers. Terrapin allows the single-user version of Terrapin Logo to be used on more than one computer within a single household. A Multiple Computer License is not necessary in that case.
What will help me learn Logo at home?
